sold the KB strapping some ZEX on the truck!
well...i was getting an 03' cobra, but the dealership didnt want to give me what i wanted for my truck, and didnt want to work a good enough deal for me on the car, so im gunna hang on to the truck....heres the sad part....when i was getting ready to get the car, i demoded the truck completly sold the KB, and traded a fellow L brother for his eaton...so i got some $$, and i need the truck to be running fast again! so im gunna stick with my 4lb lower i still have, and my diablo chip, 90mm MAF and filter, and my taction bars...and i will be ordering a full exhaust with long tubes and a ZEX kit, prolly a 75shot... when i had the KB on my truck i only ran a best of 12.80 @ 106 which i never understood that was with a 4lb lower, KB, single blade, filter, chip, t-bars and slicks....so if i go with the spray and long tubes with about 12lbs of boost do you guys think low 12's would be in order?? what would i need to get to be in the 11's??? maybe rob02 can chime in with the spray....thanks guys
I think youll enjoy the nitrous, i have it on my truck but im about to get a magnum powers to replace the NX kit (50 shot). I hate having to get the bottle filled all the time. IF refils dont bother you then go for it might look into a racetested kit or a NX.

I just ordered a kenne Bell I am looking to get low 12's, I don't understand why you only hit 12.8's? What was your hp at the wheels?
Hum... smokingozzy up here in mich has close to the same mods your talking about. He's bustin low 12s and is on the hunt for a 11.9 this weekend.
I don't see why you could'nt run a 12.5 with a 4lb, full exhaust, and a 50 shot?

Rich he lives in Florida and only had a best of 12.8 with the KB, with a 50 shot I woulod say with good air and traction he will hit a high 12 or maybe and I use maybe loosely to get low 12's. Really hard in this weather down here.

yeah weather down here is very hot and humid....im going to be running a 75 shot of a zex wet kit...i have a Q. also...do i need to adjust the timing at all? im running the stock program in the truck right now.and on the directions for the kit...it says for a 75shot no ignition retard is neccisary...only when you step it up to a 100 or 150...do you think i will be alright spraying a 75 on the stock computer with a 4lb...its getting the fuel it needs from the wet kit right?? not much of a nitrous junkie...any advice will be some help....

You can take this for what it is worth. I have a JDM flip chip tuned for a Ported s/c and 4lb lower. It has a winter side and summer side above 70*. I am runinng that same tune with my 50 shot on the winter side. I have watched the timming and it is 12 degrees so i know thats safe and the a/f well it is blowing black smoke the whole time.
