My cousin Hankfan is probably just shy of 500 on his mods w/o the NX. I think it was a fair race. I guess if I had a truck that couldnt get out of the high 12s on the usual mods, I would be hating on people that share their kill stories on here

Imagine this. You have a stock Lightning and a stock SRT-10 and you want to bring them both to the track. You'd end up towing the slower truck on a trailer with the faster one .



side note: If anybody here had the opertunity to do what HankFan did I garrauntee they would do it and post about it. I don't know why he is getting such negative feedback on his story especially when he was the one hunted for the race. Just seems like the SRT-10 went fishing for whales in a rowboat.

Sounds like he "demolished" a stock truck with a modified truck...not just beat him. So my question is if he beat a "stock" Z06, WS6, AMG55....etc.. with his modified lightning, does it make it any less glorifying??

 

Clonetek- How in the H@ll would you expect me to out run a 500hp truck in my factory 360hp truck if I didn't add some mods?? Wouldn't be much of a race now would it. If I raced him stock for stock instead of me posting on F150 how I owned a new SRT-10 "Viper Powered" super truck he would be posting on the SRT-10 forums how on the way home from buying his SRT-10 he smoked a Lightning.

The way I see it is "Run what ya Brung". You spend your money the way you want and I will spent my money the way I want. Let the fastest truck win. It's not my fault he didn't spend his money wisley. I bet he will think again before he runs a red light to challenge a Lightning!!!! God I love this truck!!!!!

It went down the drain when people started talking about towing like hillbillys. You dont tow at the track. If they can only knock the truck for having a not recommended towing label fine. 411, it can tow. Suspension is not set up for it and them 22's aint helping. Its already lowered. Maybe Dodge will include towing in the feature models. Some of you people better prey the 3rd gen lighting isnt the same price because I'll tell you this more it will be more then 40k, which means alot of you will not be buying one.

What will you do next, bash it? It will also weigh the same as ram srt-10 due to that new heavy f150 frame. So enjoy bashing dodge while you can, because when the new lightning comes out im sure you same people will be bashing it.
