Talking APTEN Results!

Well I just got back from the 5 1/2 hour drive to Apten Performance, and let me say it was well worth it. They did a base dyno run, then took by blower off and ported it and then re-dynoed. My mods are a Superchip, CAI, #4 lower, Silver Bullet Cat Back, and S/B Throttle Body.

Base Run: 374HP/484TQ

With Ported Eaton: 438HP/519TQ

This is a gain of over 50HP and 35TQ! I was amazed! Air/Fuel Ratio pretty well stayed the same before and after the porting. I do not have a scanner but I could take a picture of the dyno sheet and email it to someone that knows how to post a pic if anyone wants to see it. Hats off to Brain, Tom and the crew at Apten. A very worthwhile mod for those who haven't did it IMO!!!!! Stomp on the pedal and you can feel the difference no doubt.!
Well, It's after midnight here and I need some sleep now since it's been a long day. When I get up I will see if anyone wants to post the dyno sheet for me. Thanks! -Robb

Those mods I mentioned were already on when I did the base run. The only difference is the ported eaton

Wow! The porting really woke your engine up! You'd think that with that much more airflow that your A/F would change. You must have a very conservative program?

What did it cost to have all that done and where did you go?

How much cool off time was there from when you got to the place, and your first run? Then there was obviously a long cool off period during the removal, porting, and reinstallation. Could this have something to do with this? Impressive numbers nonetheless!

Very very impressive. And it being done right there at Apten on the same day sure does give for a *solid* story.

Awsome, Rich

Hey Rob02. I sent you the dyno sheet pic in your email bud. We did two runs before the porting back to back as you will see on the dyno sheet. I basically got there put her straight on the dyno. After the porting yes the truck was cool but Brian warmed it up a couple of minutes before "hammering down" on it.

Was there any change to the program on the chip for before and after the ported Eaton?

Sorry if you already mentioned that and I missed it.
