Your first run numbers just seem low to me. I would hope a chip (Race program) with a 4# pulley would be worth more than just 20HP. That's all I'm seeing in that first run

I'm not discounting that the results are awesome, but for whatever reason your first run sounds low.

1bad - how much boost are you seeing now? i've got a 4# lower and 2# upper, but was thinking about doing the port this summer and changing out the upper for the stock.

01svtL, I currently run a 4# lower and a 2#upper and my autometer boost gauge reads 17.5 to 18 psi at the shifts as of now. That is in 40 degree weather here in OHIO. Hope this helps.

A couple of years ago when I first put my mods on (chip,#4, CAI, Throttle Body) I had it dynoed on a mustang dyno. Even then the street program/race program difference was only about 8-10. I don't know what HP most people get out of a flip chip, I guess it all depends on how agressive you want it. I never could tell much of a difference between the two.

Apten-Tech teased us with a tidbit:
the next thing we are working on will be under $100. Hopefully I'll have some more info (and pictures) next week
Hmmm...maybe a ported TB?

Port-matched spacer?

Port-matched TB/Upper/spacer/Eaton?

Maybe one of those whirly-gig things to go in the intake?

Let see....Your 1st run was at 10:10:00 HP 4xx TQ 501
Your second run was at 10:10:40 which menas it was heat soated and you made Hp 374 TQ 484.

Your last run was a 4:35:02 many hrs later and cooled way off and you made HP 438 TQ 519.

Hmm so why are you comparing your gains to the secod pull and not the 1st.......

any way you slice it, you can't make a direct comparison because the base pulls had 5 degrees more timing. We had some after pulls that exceeded 440RWHP, but we tried to pick some where it was warmer.

I'm not claiming a 60RWHP gain from porting every blower, we are just suggesting that the results were kinda cool from the day.

I didn't, the customer did. Is he not allowed to tell people how his day went?

When you see posts from us, they are controlled tests. To put everything in control often takes several days of testing. He traveled from out of town to get a blower swap. We did a before, and for the after we heated the motor up to the same temperatures. That's about as controlled as it could have gotten in that situation. If you want the best before vs the after pull with similar operating temperatures I can post that, but as I said in the beginning this was just a customer results post.
