Sorry Sal, Im just use to watching you and JLP going at it, you say his truck is a Lightweight, he says you use N20. I also ASSumed a gearhead such as yourself would have known the answer.

Congrats Johnny on the new part.

Time and Testing will tell soon enough if it's a good idea or not, but in the mean time...

It's great to see new parts or at least new ideas for the trucks.

it stirs interest and excitement about modding and racing!

and that's always a good thing.

later,
chris

i think your kinda confusing another vendor with Sal. I've never really seen Sal in any real vendor wars. Let's just end it there.

Awesome job Johnny. What material is it made of? What kinda price range? And hook up the installed pic.

Nice job Johhny Giving the KB users another option

But I wonder how long it will be, before somebody copies your design and sells it for a cheaper price? That seems to be the way things go around here and the world.
I myself, do not believe in those principles, but rather pay the "higher" price to help the vendor recoup his R & D price. That means the vendor will be around to help this community

Once again JL, very nice! Iam putting on my nomex underwear now.......so fire away

I'm not a lightning owner, but I did stay at a holiday inn last night...

in all seriousness, on my turbocharged car, the stock intake chokes out way before the throttlebody is maxed out. Just by bolting on a new high-flow plenum to the car, the top end flow is greatly increased therefore the dyno chart will keep making more power all the way to redline. With the stock intake, it would peak at about 6300rpm and then fall off some. This was because the intake plenum was choking the top end off.

Probably the same concept here on the Lightning.

Im kind of with Don on this one about the "look" of it. If I had a KB then I would obviously be interested in any HP gains I could get. A lot of us like form as well as function though. Those welds need to be ground down, smooth is where it's at. The boxy design itself is a little too home made looking IMO

Always glad to see new products though

Products sole purpose wasnt created for the Bling Factor, its purpose is for HP. If you grind the welds smooth your going to weaken its structure due to less weld holding it together.

I think Jerry(SCT) was right, All Lightning and Cobra Owners are concerned with is HP numbers, he forgot to mention Bling too

You guys have obviously never seen a Custom sheetmetal intake, good welds are admired vs welds that had to be ground down because they looked like bird*****.
