How long have people been porting there eatons? I never heard about this till now...I have a 01 L With a ported plenum and T/B with a 4lb pully. If i port my eaton will it make more boost? Will it still be reliable for the street???

A longtime... You will get more boost and STILL be reliable..

Well, Eaton did it back in 94 when Ford used their S-port M90 on the Supercoupes. And I am sure it was done way before then. So none of the mentioned above were "the first."

actually Magnuson did the S-port. I believe they are the first, but they don't port the eaton they cast new cases.

Is the inlet the only part of the S/C that gets ported? And all they do is smooth out the roughness? I'm confused.

No, the inlet and outlet both get ported. Frank answered your ? over on nloc .

And there's a GP brewing....

This is the best I could come up with. Sorry the gasket's kinda in the way, and it isnt a good shot.But its all I have, I never had the blower off and got better pics. That pic was from when I pulled the intake off and put the spacer on.
