Look how fast the rear hopped up, WTF ???
This should get me crucified.
If your truck is lifting, the torque is being applied to the wheels, not wasted in wrapping up the springs. Yeah, yeah, I know, this is not what has been the norm on the Lightnings, and several of the tuners will probably jump all over this, but the lifting of the body is an indication that the torque is going to the ground, not being wasted wrapping the springs.
On a side note, I ran the Metco upper drag links and was very happy with them.
I also used a pinion snubber, which some here have had sucess with, and others did not like. It seemed that almost everyone I talked to experienced wheel hop with the snubber if they had Nittos on their truck. I spoke to no one that ran Mickeys, or Hoosiers that had any hop with the snubber.

Reason the back end goes up is because the tires are being plated so hard from the nitrous shot. So had it will lift the whole back end off the ground, add the Lakewood clamps and your problem is solved because the springs are now stiffer and wont bound up. 50-150 shot of nitrous and I do not have this problem at all. I use the Lakewoods, and rear clamps when racing, no clamps when on the street. I have seen this same problem with Cal Tracs, Ranchos, and Slapper Bars of all brands. Save your money and add the clamps.
Clamp them right in front of the round alignment pin in the leaf springs. You can see where I will put mine in the morning before we go race our car club bash. Right at the end of the last leaf spring you see in this picture. Clamp them tight then readjust tire pressure for the stiffer suspension. Be ready for a rough ride on the way home if the truck isn't loaded.
