Congrats Charlie's L, Deeper in the 10's!!

Heard last night that Charlie's L ran a new Low ET 10.52 with no Nitrous, All KB and JLP tuning. Metco's Idler pulley kit provided the extra grip to help the KB run faster at the Strip.

Congrats to JLP, Charlie's L, Metco...

You should have seen his face DL he was on cloud 9!...
I Just was told that a (certain tuner) is telling everyone his truck is a *Trailor Queen* And HIS 10 sec. customers are all TRUE Street trucks! What a shame this same old crap goes on from this guy! What i don't understand is why does his trucks have the KB on them and not the Magna Charger? Same Old Crap just a different day!. Charlie achieves something great and gets slamed behind his back..regardless what this *Expert* might think charlie has raised the bar once again..And truely enjoy's his Lightning and the Lightning Comunity Like charlie i'm tired of this guy talking trash behind everyones back JL

Amen. There will always be people in this community who wish to tear it apart, to make comparisons and challenges on everything. It was a great run, and a great time, no matter what the truck's status is. Raising issues about whether it's a daily driver or trailer queen is left to the people who aren't in the lead If you're going for the fastest time, that's all there is to it, the rest is just fluff.

10.52's today, with it polished up a bit it'll be one of the fastest Gen2s ever. Hopefully in a month's time

Gen2 1/4 times list

Telling everyone? I have never been told.

What makes this post any better than what you are accusing another vendor of doing? This vendor war crap is getting old and a few of you act like a couple of 5 year olds. When some of you vendors grow up, maybe this forum will actually be good again.

Congrats Charlie. That's really flying.

I know, I'm tired of hearing about JDM bashing the competition also.

BTW, congratulations Charlie. How much does your truck weigh?

I have met Charlie at NMRA Events and Ive Met Paul Gamino at FFW events as well as Local races. I have only seen Don post on this board but have heard he is a class act. All 3 of these men have been given alot and represent their tuners well, its a damn shame their tuners wont learn something from these men. Who cares what each tuner said about the other , let the customers speak for your product. If Jim says Johnny sucks and Johnny says Jim swallows, let them be they are competitors. The customer can read between the lines and see all the complaints to form their own valid judgement. Johnny like you have said before you race to win, you race to go fast. Congrats to Charlie on his fast passes, he is doing within the rules of his class. If there are no weigh requirements, then why knock him. Maybe the Truck is trailered, Its the smart thing to do because anything can happen. Ive seen Charlies truck and dont see any reason he couldnt drive it around town. Charlie is smart for towing his truck to races, just like Paul does when he races.

Let your Products or Customers speak the positives and negative about your company, we dont wanna read Jim saying Johnny suck or Johnny saying Jim swallows. That only makes us wanna go shop with Sal

You add nothing but fuel to the fire. I could care less about Johnnylightning or JDM, as both are as guilty as the other, but it's posters like you that really keep the pot stirred. Grow up!
