Charlie is a true lightning enthusiast and does not deserve any type of negitive comments. Charlie is by far one of the nicest people I have met and has really gone the extra mile with his truck to make it fast and look awsome. Does it really matter if the truck is trailered to the track? I dont see many other 10 sec trucks driving cross country to race. I would not doubt that charlies truck would handle its own on the street no problem, just like Eric's truck Lenny's truck and many other of Johnnys real fast trucks. Charlie keep up the good work and continue to have fun with your truck. You da man!

It's funny, Lenny's truck is not technically street-legal either, but I've seen it out a few times *sshh, I'm not telling*

Funny how it didn't come out that way. You need to work on being able to put your thought process into words better.

You, JDM and Johnnylightning would make a good trio. The sad thing is, a guy like Charlie, gets caught in the middle.

Charlie achieves something great and gets slamed behind his back..regardless what this *Expert* might think charlie has raised the bar once again..And truely enjoy's his Lightning and the Lightning Comunity Like charlie i'm tired of this guy talking trash behind everyones back JL

Johnny,

I believe you are referring to me in your post since I had a conversation with JJ last night. I do install a massive amount of Kenne Bells and soon will be installing a massive amount of Magnum Power blowers. I thought about calling you to see if you were referring to me and I decided against that because of Charlie. Charlie and I at every event that we're at together spend a good half hour to hour talking to each other. I have the upmost respect for him and his accomplishments. The last event we were at together we spent a half hour racing each other, he was on your scooter and I was on my mini bike. Just a couple days ago at Englishtown we spent time talking before he left. Charlie, if you read this I wish you the best on your goals and wish you the best on your accomplishments.

So, this is how it went with my phone conversation with JJ. He had sent me an E-Mail yesterday so I picked up the phone and called him. Most of the conversation was about the money he owes me. We also talked about false board names. He told me Grey03 was not him but is a close friend of his and Mr. Freeze was 99svtlightning (Eric). Then the conversation went of to E-Mails and I had told him that I had just received an E-Mail that day from a guy talking about Charlies 10.50 run saying that his truck could do the same thing if it weighed 4,000 pounds and he trailored it everywhere. Basically just trying to let JJ know that people say things no matter if you do good or bad. They'll say it on the internet, E-Mails, or they will call you up and say it. This sounds like to me that JJ took part of our conversation, turned it a little bit and told Johnny what JJ wanted him to hear. I pulled JJ's distributership from us becuase at that time I knew he had three false board names on F-150 alone. Johnny, maybe you should've considered the source or picked up the phone and called me before you made this post. Maybe, you should have a talk with your two biggest supporters JJ and Eric about how many board names they should be using.

Leonard,

They do represent him and they make that very clear. In fact Johnny's post wouldn't have gone the way it did if he didn't listen to JJ so it looks like to me they do have an influence that could hurt Johnny's business so maybe he should talk to them.

Hey Jim,

I remember a time over two years ago when you told me directly to my face that JL's truck was "swiss cheese" and that it was probrably under 4000lbs. Think really hard back to that day and who you had in your little Va campfire group listening to you talk and then you might realize who I am. And its not JJ cause he wasnt on the scene yet.

I havent talked to JJ about anything related to your converstation with him and he really doesnt care to share any stories invloving you or anything pertaining to you, but if I know JJ, I'm sure he shared the most amusing and entertaining parts of the conversation with JL.

From what I have seen at the track and at JJ's shop, he seems to have a very solid relationship with JL and the whole JLP racing family and I dont think anything will change that.

GO PEDAL

ps, almost forgot. YOU DA MAN CHARLIE

Grey03,

JJ shared a story with me about you saying you ran to him when SVT F15O (Mat) put up a post about his cats and that he jumped on the internet and printed out a sheet about catalytic converters and handed it to you and you then posted it. As far as JL's truck being light, if I'm not mistaking his truck weighs either 4000lbs. or lighter. Even JL himself posted pictures of how he was lightening up his truck. He's always been a firm believer in lightening his truck up and there's nothing wrong with that. Two and a half years ago I came very close to getting banned off of F150 online for standing behind JJ. It was the moderator who asked me to stop posting in defense of him and think about it for a couple days which I'm glad I did and I still kept him as a distributer until his multiple board names was brought to my attention. If anything, people hurt themselves with mutliple board names because nobody really knows who they truly are.

Sometimes I'm glad I don't have the cash, or extra time, to make my truck the fastest. Sometimes this site can really rip the joy out of an outstanding accomplishment. Congratulations Charlie. Too bad people have to taint everything with negativity.
