Maybe there could be a forum for vendor ratings like on ebay, with positive, negative and neutral feedback for a specific vendor. If a member wants specifics, they can send a pm to the one posting feedback and discuss it privately. The vendor could do a reponse if they choose, if they feel the need to dispute the rating. This way it isn't drug through the normal forum and it will keep others from being able to chime in where they may not belong.

Steve,
What about the fat old big mouth from NY
Thats a joke (although I'd be perfect)

Like you said, it couldn't work, and like I said earlier,
unfortunatly You and Doug are blamed for not being
bias enough, and also for being too bias.
I have always found the rules within reason here,
and thats why I love the place.

ALL OF YOU KNOW no matter how much fun I like to have
(AND I DO)
I ALWAYS help ANYONE out even if it means digging snow for three hours to get to my Lightning to take a picture to help someone through a Mod (and yes I did that last yr for someone)
AMOF today I send someone my Hellwig traction control bars
FOR FREE, (I even paid the frt) Just to help a Brother out

What I don't like lately, is how many read the post, but don't answer it. It's like they're looking for only the one's that they
can start schitt with, thats NOT what this Forum is about.

IMHO if you dont have something to contribute you're better off just lurking. Seems like the really bad threads are the ones where people post a reply just to increase post count.

I may have something more to add to this thread, but for now I'll just shut up.

You know , Gregg, you are a Lightning Brother forever and your character is beyond reproach as is your customer service. Sometimes, a person has to represent and defend himself against wrongdoers ,wrongdoings and stand up for what he/she believes in. And when mistakes are made , why not admit them and try to make ammends? I do. Basic etiquette and courtesey then come into play ,but does not allways work. When one, contacts the vendor, numerous times and intiates a truce and the vendor refuses to reply or offer any type of compromise. What do you do? You may think ,or you were told that , "hey Pete, you are our best customer". Then something happens and that same "hey Pete" becomes one of, you may of been our best customer but we would rather lose you , as a customer, rather than openly admit our prodigiously verifiable mistakes. Its all about compromise gentlemen and being man enough to admit your mistakes. I was willing to speak to certain individuals (not mentioned) and indicated it through several sources of there own. I agree, it may of gotten out of hand, but it was fueled and rekindled by people that should of stayed out of the matter. No regrets whatsoever, just a shocker of a learning experience as to who your friends really are.
I openly apologize to Doug , Steve and all of my Lightning brothers , for this topic has gotten immensly out of hand , but has become a means to an end of a once proliferating relationship.

this may seem rather blunt but to all of these people who always have a complaint about something. Why dont you tie some kerosene rags around your ankles so the ants dont crawl up your legs and bite your candy A**

You may call it blunt, but I call it childish. Consider that you just offered a "complaint" about people complaining..
