I believe that most, if not all, of our SV's have contacted us at one time or another for something posted on these forums. We respond appropriately to each message we receive from them. And, despite what Grey03 would lead you to believe, negative threads are not deleted unless they are driven out of control for reason.

that serves no purpose other than to drive the particular thread into deleteville?You have taken great strides recently in the "survivor" removal of a few individuals who's only purpose was to bash and personally defame other members of the Lightning community just for thier own enjoyment. Now please take this one step further and steer this site in the direction that would make most if not all true Lightning/Ford enthusiasts proud.

This wouldn't be a Forum if we couldn't somewhat express our views, weather they be negative or positive.
Then of course there MUST BE a balance where it doesn't go too far.
Then again if it goes too far, some get pissed and blame Doug + Steve.
And if it doesn't go far enough, then once again some get pissed and Blame Doug + Steve, saying they're protecting a Vendor.
TUFF SITUATION , But we're all adults, (well most of us at least
) and we can work it out as a community.
I commend Doug and Steve for allowing Promod to express his
unhappiness with a Vendor, he feels he got screwed, and quite
frankly I agree with him that he did.
However I also happen to have done business with REM in multi ocassions and have personally found them to be excellent. They have some of the best pricing, the quickest shipping, the easiest to deal with, and even willing to talk price if I found it cheaper somewhere else. To me their Customer Service is excellent.
But I still back my Brother and his 20k Motor, he got screwed,
weather it was directly or not directly because of REM,
he feels it was, and I think most of us agree he did get screwed.
So I think he owns the right to express himself.

to be removed, I see he already did it.
Just like I removed the "GIVE ME HEAD FORD" from my sig after a while. Some love Ford, some don't, I'll argue til the cows come home that they knowingly Frucked us yr after yr with these threadless heads, but after my point was made, I backed down,
and still Love my L more than any vehicle before, and prob after.

Lets just try to remember what this board is all about. There's always going to be some "high school drama" anywhere you go. However, it can be controlled. When it all boils down to it.. the majority of us sign on to this site and others for one reason... WE love our trucks and what they stand for!!! Hell, they are in the guinness book of world records!

So, let me get this straight. You want a General Discussion area setup for Lightning owners where you can talk about non-Lightning topics (i.e. General Discussion), but it cannot be the General Discussion area that already exists here for the rest of the members of the site. Is my understanding correct on this request?
Oh, and to find the "lightning specific" classifieds, click on the "Classifieds" link to the left and make sure you include the term "Lightning" in your search and you will find the "Lightning specific classifieds."
I don't think that F150online is the site you were looking for. This site is dedicated to all 1997 and newer F150's, including, but not limited to or existing solely for the purpose of Lightnings. Might I suggest http://www.nloc.net to fulfill your 100% Lightning needs?
