What everybody else said about the traffic, weather, and party scene....But no joke..Come down here for a visit. Head out to one of the local malls (Dadeland Mall if possible). You will see more beautiful girls/women/moms (whatever floats your boat) in 15 minutes than you'll see in 15 months anywhere else in Florida. The women are incredible down here......up north girls get cars on the 16th b-day....down here they get a boob job

j/k (not about the boob jobs though, wife's a h.s. teacher). The weather is great if not a bit hot in the summer. And you can move into some peaceful neighborhoods in Miami if you've got some decent $$$$. Anywhere from W.Palm south is nice, but the further south you go the HOTTER it gets.

Or you could try Ocala, lots of horses and cows. Our biggest club is called Midnight Rodeo. On the fip side though, you can grab a nice 3/2 for 85K.

Sean,

Check out some locals here. There's a party on the water every week down here (that just means you're gonna have to add another toy to the toychest.

http://www.zbash.com/galleries.aspx

Enjoy.

Pensacola, Florida..Northwestern Panhandle. The hot, humid weather is murder on the L from May to Oct. There is a 1/8 mile track 45 min east and one 45 min west in Mobile. They SCCA solo1/2 race about 10 min from my home on an abondoned airstrip which is fun. I miss San Diego, but I was able to buy a 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage 2300 sq ft new home for 121,000 here...homes are cheap here, but hardly any jobs. Thanks for the military I can afford the home. I couldn't touch a home like this on my salary in San Diego.

Pensacola is the place to be. Nice and relaxed with plenty to do. I am actually here now. I live in GA most of the time.

I live within palm beach as well....Not as crowded as broward and dade counties but were on our way. We do have a track in palm beach gardens called moroso if you wanna do 1/4 miles. Never really gets cold here but on occasion it drops into the 40's during the winter. Burrrr.... Thats freezing although its a nice change to run that supercharger...Acts like a whole different truck compared to the normal ball roastin summers.....
