Ok who wants to post over there? Now they are saying this Jeep 5.9 (360ci) Jeep ran 13.9 stock. That just not seem possible. I looked up a few sights. Say 15.2 stock. Maybe high 14s for a good 1, But thats along way away from 13.9.

Just not sure I can believe that a Stock 5.9 liter Jeep Grand Cherokee is going to run 13.9 1/4 mile.

If they did the Auto Mags would be all over them...

In other words NO ****ing way

Doug

My BS gauge is pegged!!

I still have a copy of Motor Trend, January 1998. They tested a Grand Cherokee Limited 5.9, exact same as this a$$clown, Motor Trend could only muster a 15.2@88.7, 0-60 in 6.8. MT has it listed at 245hp, 345tq, 4218lb curb wt. This guy is full of $**t.

i don't know if a durango 5.9 weighs more or not but I know of one with the mopar pcm and headers that could not even keep up with a stock 5.4 super cab 4x4, and then gets beat even worse by a 6.0l diesel 4x4 - they can always dream.

BTW-
maybe old news but saw tonight while at walmart a mag that had the Lightning, ss and a hemi reg cab go at it, of course the lighting won by a sizeable margin.

They did say however that the 03 l did not handle aswell as the older Lightnings due to the new rear springs, o well maybe they will settle in.

-they also showed decent 0-60 (under 5.2) but high 1/4 mile - mid 14's

I think the L might have been going in reverse and he forgot to add that.
