If I am right and I would like to think that I am, those cars weigh about as much as a Lightning, and have about half the HP to the wheels. WTF are these guys talking about running 12's and ****. WTF didn't they just go buy a race car instead.

Well as some of you guys know. I have a 5.2 GC. It has most bolt on stuff except headers. I have raced a bone stock Gen 1 Lightning with it. The Gen 1 is faster. So I really do not know whats up with them.
Jeeps are cool, makes a great winter drive. But it is no Lightning killer,even with a supercharger strapped on.

The Jeep 5.9 was decently quick for a SUV when it came out a few years back, running high 14's or low 15's stock.
I can see how you might be able to wittle that down to low 14's with bolt ons and catch a L napping on the line, but it's silly to say that your truck is faster than an L.

I'll have to agree that I can't see any Heep Grand Cherokee beating a Lightning. Why would you try to make a hot rod out of a Heep? If you want a fast SUV you gotta start with some good Ford iron.

I was at FFW Richmond and I saw very few mid 12 second trucks
Most were mid 13's to high 12's. Except for the JDM truck and a red one which ran good. My wimpy little jeep could have ate up 90% of those trucks

I ran a SS/T w/ a blower and beat him by a full second

Over on the Jeep forum it says that the black lightning that apparently got "smoked" had a diablo chip. That means that it atleast runs mid to low 13's. I'll be damed if i can see a jeep that can pull a lightning. That just pisses the ***** out of me!!! There is no way in hell that a jeep took a lightning with a chip. I dont care what it has on it!!
