Never had that happen before. I still like the ceramic low dust, but I'm thinking of sticking the stock wheels back on along with the Brembos I have all boxed up...
Leonard,

Run on up here and we can have a braking contest!!! LOL

I absolutely love the Brembos. Sorry I missed ya at BG.

I really thought I was gonna make it and then had to
work instead. Bummer.

I have a set of stock painted wheels... I can throw some tires on and I'll be set...Those Brembos were nice...

I didn't go to BGF either on Saturday. I think the event started at 12:00pm and ended soon after when all of the rain came. It started to rain where I was at about 12:00 so I didn't bother going.

Good info,but mixed on Ceramic,but

wouldn't SS brake lines also help with braking? Who makes good ones, source with cheapest price, and put them on rear, too? Part numbers? Thanks

Ceramic pads and open tracking do not mix period.there are ceramic pads and rotors that are the best period for racing but the cost is well over 10,000.00 for a full set.The pad material [ceramic] and rotors do not mix at high temp[co-efficent] and you WILL have brake fade.IN other word HIT the wall or do some dirt racing.LIVE with the dust if you open track and your truck will more than likely survive the event unscaved!
I run my onw set up and experience no fade either and they are on the stock caliper and stock size rotor.and that is with very fast slow downs in excess of 130 time after time.I run the hawk and autozone pads with no problems.Stan
