WTF would a tranny pan not come off???

Ok, we are trying to get my buddy's MAC pan off and it seems to be fused to the transmission. All of the fluid has been drained and all of the bolts have been removed, and my huge *** can't budge the damn thing.

ANY IDEAS???

Rule #1: If all else fails, get a bigger hammer.

Ford wench....8 lb. sledge! Just kidding.

Be carefull and use a screwdriver to pry it off. Tap it in at a few places around the pan.....just don't damage the trans.

Rubber hammer, and tap/hit on the sides of it. You never want to use anything to "pry" on the gasket surface. You can and will damage the gasket surface, and cause yourself a leak.
