Hey Shane, didn't you drop a bunch of mph at your last outing @ Route 66? Might be consistent with the dyno numbers? Perhaps it is losing hp somewhere. Good luck.

I got the chipped reburned and it feels really stronger than b4. So I still have to take it back to the track, but the race program on the truck feels real strong. thanks, Shane

Shane you should go to FLP or Speed Inc to redyno. Also another track appearance would be good too... I just don't like that major dip in power AND the fact you did not get some A/F's...

yeah I am planning on going back to the track tuesday. I want to test the new program on the chip. It feels real aggresive. It's just the #'s on the dyno don't back it up. I'm so confused!
That's why I kinda don't want to go again and run another 13... Ever sence I put on that upper pulley it has been down hill. I dont know where that 12.60 came from (back in April) with just the 4#, chip and filter but I liked that and I want to get somewhere near there. If not better. What steps do I need to take to get back there? I don't think the upper pulley is the problem when it comes to 1 dyno run or 1 run at the track, I still should be putting down better numbers...
From here I will pry go out to the track again Tuesday. Work on my 60 foots with the et streets and test out the new chip...
If I am where I want to be in times and I'll get back to you on my traps, then we can dyno again. But if my times at the track this tuesday indicate similar to whats on the dyno from the other day, we've got problems right? like I said I was hoping for near 400/500. What factors play in a dyno? the tune on the Chip, air fuel #'s like you said, tempature? What else? That's all for now. Thanks, Shane

couple more questions... I've never dynoed b4 or even looked at a graph close... Is my losing power at 4,700 rpms and then trying to raise a little at 5,000 normal. whats with that?

Also can I see some other graphs or print outs of guys on the dyno. I am looking to see 1 stock, and 1 with a 4#er or similar mods as me.. Thanks, Shane

That doesnt look like a Dynojet to me, so i think his #'s show lower possibly because his truck is under load?

If you can get to say a Dynojet with a printed AFR readout, it would help you out big time.

Hey Shane...don't want to sound like an idiot here but is your intercooler working? Mine wasn't and it was really low on power on take off. Got her fixed and the difference is absolutley unbelievable. No dynos yet just the seat of the pants meter.

Hope you get her figured out.

This is why they don't cross ****

I was thinking clogged fuel filter but that wouldn't explain it picking back up.

I forgot, is that a 99,(**EDIT** Nope its a 00) if so then maybe its a loose hose connection in the tank (clamps?) and its sucking air.
But a look at the plugs would confirm that

I think your on the right trail, ****
