Dude seriously, i live in Florida and im ready to drive up and kick some a$$. How scared would he be if he looked out his window and saw like 5 L's full of people ready to kick his a$$. I want to go up there, have him put my hitch on, then give me my $100 back, and then kick his face in. He keeps giving excuses to prolong the sutuation.

Kelly usually does the replying. I THINK this is his wife/girlfriend. I got a reply on the 26th or 27th saying he/she was over-nighting me a money order. He/she even went so far as to give me a money order number. Who wants to bet if someone else was promised a MO also, the number matches mine?

I sent the message at 12:44 pm and received a response at 2:01 pm.

The reason I encourage taking the dialog directly is not to defend this person's actions, rather to discourage repeated posts talking about driving to his home and beating him up...which is just as illegal as the fraud he perpetrated on several people here.

Yes, that too! I've been buying and selling on a different forum for a while now, and bought my tonneau cover from a guy on here. Never had a problem, however, not sure I'll be doing that anymore.

Just a suggestion here, but the eclipse forum I still browse has a good guys/bad guys section for things likes this. So, anytime I'd buy anything I'd always go look there first. I fortunately am listed under good guys there now, but it might be something we want to consider for this site. Just a forum for guys to express how things went with other members, dealers or vendors...

I want my hitch!!!!!
Im going to go see what i can do about my money order.
I found a different phone number of 732- 598-3628

Its POS like this thats makes it hard for honest people to sell their used ightning parts. I've sold many parts and never had a problem. The last item I sold, the buyer was hesitant to send me a money order, which I understood. He suggested sending it UPS COD, which does work out for both THE SELLING PARTY AND THE BUYER.
So that might be an option for members buying parts in the future.

I also had a little verbal battling with this scumbag on a forum one night, I just wrote him off as a punk jerk-off. Guess I was right

Hope this helps!

I thought I had saved all the info on how we finally got Harry Taylor to pay, but I guess I deleted the file. It was massive and I was trying to clear some space out a few months ago. Since Bubba was deployed, I did a lot of the "leg work" on recovering our money.
The things I did were this:
1. I sent him a certified letter with delivery confirmation stating my complaints and the fact that I would be required to seek legal action if he didn't return our money/parts immediately.
2. I filed internet fraud charges against him (can't remember the web site but you could probably do a general search and see it there)
3. I called the local police department (amazingly their office is on Whitehorse Ave. as well) I told them I had been a victim of internet fraud. Sorry I can't remember the specific officer's name that visited his house a couple of times. At the time Harry had a picture of his truck sitting out by his garage on his posts on NLOC and I was able to describe in detail what the police should look for. As far as I can remember it was a cream colored garage/shop with gravel driveway and his truck was black. Police #609-581-4000.
4. I filed a complaint with the U. S. Postal Service. Go to usps.com and you should be able to find the link for mail fraud.
5. I filed a complaint with paypal, but didn't get too much luck there. I guess they can't get your money back if there isn't any money in the account!
6. Finally, I just didn't give up. I was bound and determined he was going to have to pay up or I would bug him for the rest of his life. It wasn't about the money, it was about being able to back up what you say. He still didn't quite pay the correct amount (I think he was about 5 dollars short, and made no effort to repay me for all the time and money I was out for certified letters and long distance phone calls, but at least he had to pay me back!)

Hope this helps!

You guys realize that even if everything gets returned/worked out on this account/user name he will just pop up using a new user name and e-mail address and start allover again. There really isn't a way to stop it.

When they haul his a$$ away in cuffs, he may think twice about doing it again. I've been reading about this since Tony posted his complaints. With what's here and on the other boards, the people he has screwed should have plenty of evidence to have enough charges of missrepresentation, mail fraud and internet fraud brought against him that he'll be someone's B I T C H for at least 10 years.
Hang that tool!!
