Plus SVT2B replied to my email and asked me to call him. He did get his $$$ back with the help of the fed. govt. So, I hope to have more info tomorrow. Plus, I have no reply to the email I sent Harry/Kelly this afternoon. What a shock.

 

 

here are 2 legitimate options.

Have 1 guy, or a few if you prefer, get hard copy of the uncompleted/blown off transactions. Take these with you to the jokers house. Before you get there, call a cop to come with you to "preserve the peace".
Call the friggin thief(alleged) on it. Show the cop the paperwork, and point the finger at Harry/Kelly and see what he/she says. If he/she denies it, you have enough evidence to put his/her lying *** away for an additional period, as the Judge will not like the way he/she thied to wriggle out of these charges with a cop standing right there; even more damaging, the fool discarded an opportunity to do the right thing.

If he concedes to your allegations, it will be recorded by "Jonny law" (see, they do work for the people, sometimes.). This is a valuable admission of obligation. This admission can be used in civil court with great success. The authorities will take notice of these allegations regardless of the outcome.

Option 2

Let it go away, let him get away, and suprisingly, somehow something bad will happen to the guy, and it won't involve any of you guys, right. You ses, ya can't go around saying you are going to anonymously kick the guy's mule, and at the same time, post how you are going to do it to him. Ya see the contradiction in logic?

So, nobody is going to kick anybodies mule, right? And if something happened to this joker, it would just be a sad twist of fate, that could have happene to anybody. Thank god, none of us were involved.

In this circumstance, i am not involved, merely an innocent bystander that knows better than to buy anything from someone whom i can't reach. If I can't wring their neck if things go bad, I won't trust them with anything I am not willing to get screwed on. Not that I would ever do such a thing, wreck the dirty bastard, that is.

I think weezell is correct in his options. I didnt lose any money so there is no need for me to risk gettin in trouble with johnny law. I think this guy should get what he deserves though. You have to admit 30 lightnings on his front lawn would be *******in sweet. He will get what he deserves. it wont be from us though. Just a sad twist of fate...

Ray, you are dead wrong in your comments and are only showing complete and utter ignorance to the situation, making yourself look like a complete fool.

Doug was the first one to raise this issue several days ago to me to see if there was something we should do about it. I contacted "Harry Taylor" in the manner I did and posted the results here because I own the site, not Doug.

In fact, in reference to your comments about his post in this thread, I was considering posting something very similar in response to Krix's post, as it sounded like the original poster was being encouraged to come down hard on this site.

You have two options, drop the public attitude towards Doug or go away....again. Choose one.

Ray I know we are friends, but I have to disagree with you on this one.

First off Doug was not missing in action at the Houston FFW. He was having a problem with his chip, and Jim didn't have time to work on Dougs truck till Saturday night. By that time it was to late to qualifiy for the racing. He may not race at all the FFW events, but he is allways taking pictures of everyones truck, and printing awesome pictures for them right at the track.

As for being a Moderator sometimes it is a no win situation, and I think he does a pritty good job overall. You can't please everyone, and this is a very tough board to moderate.

Ray not everyone hates Doug, infact he is a nice guy and does a lot for the Lightning community. If you knew half of what he does for us(the Lightning Community) I think you would have a different opinion of what he is really like as a person.

 

As I appreciate all the useful information in this thread, this thread is headed in a direction in which it was not meant for. Please take the bickering to another place. I did not personally start this thread, but I do not want it to get cluttered with arguements on a different topic. Let's please keep this on target - Douconsulting.

I have to agree with you. I know a few folks who are mods on popular boards and it is a hard, THANKLESS job for which they get no pay. This isnt the only forum Doug has and I think he does a pretty damn good job of trying to keep things in line. I am amazed at his patience with some of the posting here at times. I know Doug personally and think he is really a good guy with the Lightning community's best interest at heart. The call out to him was unwarranted and unneeded. You can not please everyone on this board or in life, so I dont expect everyone to like him.. but I consider him a good guy in my book.
