How good has your L been to you?

Just wanted to know how the L board members truly feel about their L.. Mine is a 99 and is about to turn 75K miles and must say it's been very good to me.. I know some guys have had problems with theirs but overall How would you rate your L? Especially us guys with high milage ... The only problems I've had out of mines is a bad fuel pump..It still suprises me to this day that my truck still runs and looks as good as it did the day I drove it off the showroom floor.

Mine has 10000 miles on now and it has been the best truck we have ever owned. For a performance truck it's great a blast to drive, and always looked at it's great

I copied this from another thread:

I'm almost 64 years old. I got my first car(1937, customized, and 'built' eng., etc.) at 18 years of age. I've since owned a Mercedes, Saab, VW, Fiat, Jaguar, Jeep, Chevrolet(Corvair-2 of them, Monte Carlo, Z281LE), Pontiac(1979 big-block WS6 TA, GP), and some I've forgotten for the moment .

IMHO, my 01 L is the best vehicle I've ever owned ! 48,900 trouble-free miles on her now and she still turns me on...

Bought it new in Sept.'99 and it's been basically trouble free after 28K now. Only been back to the shop once for the Intercooler 'Recall in a Can', and at that time my original I/C wasn't leaking either. Can't B*tch.

I love my Suzy. Just washed/vacuumed her today and went cruising for a bit. Greatest feeling in the world tearing around town in such a bada$$ truck....

"What's more exciting...having sex or driving a Lightning"....

"Well....how about having sex while driving a Lightning"...

(Sorry just watched the movie on the trip home yesterday)

She doesn't make me breakfast in the morning; but, she blows on command. I think I can live with that.

Ya What Gator Said

With all my bitching and moaning I got to admit, it's been a pleasure thus far.

I can't imagine life without a Supercharger
