Oh, and I had an Si for 3 years and traded it in on the L. I set mine up for autox and in all honesty it was a great car and never broke and I loved shifting at 8 grand. They can be made fast for sure and I don't doubt what you have...it only takes money.

I would like to buy an L but I would need to sell one of my vehicles (the cobra I think). I’m in the USAF and I’m waiting to see if my squadron is called upon to go to the desert. I just don’t want to start an other bill right before I have to go. I’m just going to play the waiting game and when this is over, then I think I will go for it.
Well, the Si is truly a fun car...I can attest to that but I would not get rid of the cobra for an L and thats just my opinion. with a little supsension work and some aluminum heads, cam, etc. they can be made to be very fast, very easy. Or for that matter throw a vortech on it and have a blast. The 5.0 is a damn strong motor (500 HP is considered the limit on a stock block) that won't blow plugs by the way, hehe and parts are plentiful and dirt cheap.
