Ok, I didn’t pull out a ringer like you said. If you understood what I wrote, I was done with it all when I lost with the cobra. This guy though had to follow me and rub it in my face. He was just being obnoxious and that pissed me off. When he told me that he has never lost a race, I just had to do it. I’m sure some of you understand.
As far as the cobra goes I feel that the 94 cobra was a weak year. It lost horse power and the body design wasn’t the greatest. In 93 the cobra had 255hp and in 94 went to 240hp. I like the car but I was originally looking for a 93.
I’m sorry if you think that I am bashing Lightings, I just wanted to bag on the type of drive I encountered.
As far as me only posting 8 times, yes that’s true. But if you can see how many times I logged in, you would see that I am here almost everyday reading other people’s posts. I also have a f150 2002 FX4 and that is why I joined here. I’m sorry for stirring up the bees nest. I thought some of you would enjoy my post. I guess not. I’ll just go back to reading the posts.
Oh and why does anyone work on their vehicle. cuz it's just there, and you want to.

Man....why does everyone here need to be such an elitist. Having a 380+hp truck doesn't mean you're a better or smarter person than someone driving a gremlin with a coat hanger for an antenna and a 30mph spare on the back

I ain't buying this whole darned story. Unless folks in Arizona need a big fat dose of "GET A LIFE".

Guy follows me to work is a stretch...but guy I have never met agrees to come back for a James Dean run off...come on now. I really liked the part about all the guys going with ya'll for the big race...LMAO.

Somebody has been watching Grease....

Hey, was John T there also...ROFLMAO.

Well..at least this kid didnt get attacked on here like most do..

My bud just bought an 03 Cobra on Valentines Day...we have been screwing around in it for a week now and the blower isnt there at all like the Lightning is..you have to "try" to hear it...in my L its ALL you hear..then again we are pushing more boost and I have a oper air filter so its a little more noticable. But we were both commenting on how the blower on the cobra is much less apparent than the one on my L...but DONT let that give you the wrong idea...sound doesnt mean crap...the fact is, when he stomps it...its like getting hit from behind by a semi!!! Those bit*hes are BAD!!! Makes the 99 cobra I had look sick...I do agree that the halfshefts will be sacrificed left & right though.

Thanks for the laugh, I dont mind reading these stories > HammerFX4.....

Cobra with some mods, an import that would cost a mint to build ( where do you post about your wicked Honda) and a Ford truck... thats quite a stable.

Where did you get this mod done ???? what kind of head work

I got the work done at different places. alot of it was done in Phoenix at import powerhouse, and some of the work was done in calli at J's racing, and some of the work was done with the help of friends.
Oh and I do have 3 vehicles I'm not stupid with my money.
It doesn't matter if you believe me or not. I'll still be having fun with my vehicles. This has gotten way out of hand. Sorry to have brought it up.

Ummmmm... call me stupid but the motor in the 93 and 94 cobra had the same HP...they are both rated at 240. The 94 may make a bit less on an actual dyno fue tto the intake configuration but they are rated the same. the biggest difference was in weight...the 94 added about 300 pounds.

Oh, and I had an Si for 3 years and traded it in on the L. I set mine up for autox and in all honesty it was a great car and never broke and I loved shifting at 8 grand. They can be made fast for sure and I don't doubt what you have...it only takes money.
