***I know I lack the post count, but a justified and clear opinion doesn't need a post count to be integral ! ****

No one goes into business for fun. Everyone needs to make money. Tuners will go out of their way to make their customers happy b/c that is what makes them the $$$. Sal never should have been attacked, because he was rightly introducing a product onto his market segment, and from what I hear he is a very good person to deal with.

A higher price on a good is worth it as long as I am getting the intangible values along with it (quality and good customer service).

(P.S. 2001SVT, where in Ont. are you from? I'm on msn if you wanna chat [moerom@hotmail.com]. Perhaps this summer we can get a cruise happening!)

Embrace your fellow L brothers so we can be united in beating on Chevys while snacking lightly on rice!

OMG ...

Didn't you see that there are others that agree the pricing is to high - including me ...

Oh ***** here I go just posting more bull***** - the bull***** POLICE are already on my A$$ - If I keep leaving trails I'll be behind bars by sunset - sorry gotta go...

One last thing before I go for 'what it's worth' my intentions are to keep the $1700 in my pocket and add another $1300 and buy either a KB or Works blower IMO that's much more bang for your buck... Now if I can just figure out which one is better and which one produces the most HP

I don't understand your arguement though, because you bought the MOST expensive exhaust there IS...for $1875, $375 more then your Bassani, I got 2 long tube coated headers, 2 high flow cats, 2 mufflers, an x-pipe and polished tips...

I did not pay 1875 for my bassani. Where did you get that? I paid 14 and change. So for an extra 500 (over the price of just the headers) I got a complete system. That's the point. I'm done.

Dude, go back and REREAD my reply. I said *I* spent $1875 on my exhaust, $300 more then your $1500. And for $1875, I got long tubes, cats, xpipe, mufflers and side tips.

You are arguing about the cost of headers when you bought the MOST expensive exhaust (which is nice quality, I like them) that DOES NOT come with long tubes out there. For $300 more, you would have had long tubes.

Exhausted...

I would like to say a couple of things about this topic so heres my opnion for what its worth. I've owned a half dozen high performance vehicles in my 18 years of driving and these posts about who's parts are better, who's a better tuner- blah, blah blah- do nothing except fuel a typed pissing contest, not one vehicle has ever gotten faster from any of these posts. I believe the tuners all put out quality parts and as a group we have no choice but to deal with them for our high performance wants, I thought this was supposed to be fun but these posts are shooting down products before people even have a chance to try them, wheres the fun in that. As for product costs, it's too expensive for a small business to produce a low cost product only to be slammed because you guys want it all - great quality, perfect fit and finish and there tomarrow for as little investment as possible, me too, but we don't own a mass produced camaro or mustang, we own a limited production vehicle that till this point the large high performance manfactures have not supported, so we pay more, deal. Todd
