How do you guys save up for those mods?

For those of us who aren't *filthy* rich, do you do anything to save for Lightning mods? For instance, although I don't cut coupons or frequent Big Lots or Aldi, I haven't bought clothes in about a year. Ever since I got the L I've cut myself off from all the brands I used to sport (Banana, DKNY, AX, etc.). Now, whenever I need a new sweatshirt I hit up Target's or Walmart and pick up a 7 dollar one.

Other things include my one-meal-a-day diet (that's also for Spring Break Cancun). And when I drink, it's good ol' 40 ounces of freedom for me. Everything from Colt 45 to St. Ides, OE, Laser, King Cobra, Schlitt's, Mickey's...you name it.

What about you?

Just an example: Today I had Ramen noodles, 35 cent wings, and 2 40s. Total: about 10 bucks.

I made a vow a long time ago that I would never sell her. When I get my first job you can bet I'll throw a good chunk of change at her.

The Bird rocks. V8, RWD, IRS. I love the looks too....

driving the truck lightly will save you on gas, Yes dont, ask me how i do it, but i keep WOT for weekends only. A college student here so it takes alot to save up. Being single also helps. Other than that ramen noodles are the best thing at 12 cents.

you have to find a nitch. For example, I make custom light bulbs for house hold uses.

Basically, save up and have a good job. You will find that when you have the money you will not want all the things you have now and your only desire will be to expand your wealth. If its less than 5% of your net wealth, its not a big purchase at all.

hehe, I dont make light bulbs, I grow oil wells. Not quite, but will someday.

tell me about it. my apt. is 650 WITHOUT utilities!! so with all my bills (internet, electricity, phone, cell phone) i'm hovering around 850 a month! that doesn't include insurance for two cars, and gas for two cars as well as regular maintenance. and vet bills, kitty food, litter....hence my 1 meal a day diet

oh yea and spring break was a chunk of change too

as for the nitch, i've thought about whoring myself out to hot women lately...
