I got a raise a few months back, when I changed jobs. Unknown to my wife, I secretly saved the raise money in another account. Now I have almost $2K sitting there. The Married Person Monetary Distribution Rules will apply, meaning I'll most likely have to give some of that free money up for things like window blinds and tablecloths, but a good portion will go towards the L.

Not a lot of money, but it's a start...

Unhappy

I had $0 credit card debt before the L. Now I have $15000. As dumb as that sounds, its more addicting than crack.

You just made me feel so much better about my credit card debt you got about 5 grand on me. Unfortunatley, very little is from the L, most of it is from being young and stupid.

the credit card companies are pretty smart. If you look at how they charge interest rates on the full amount charged not owed, they rack in the $$$.

I work a lot...although I've slowed down a lot since we have a baby now. The mods will also be coming slower now(hopefully the truck won't), but it's worth it.

I make custom light bulbs for house hold uses.
Dude that's really funny. Do you have a 'garden' with a few plants in the closet as well?

financed by mastercard

i'm on the buy now, pay later program!!!!

Money on the truck and a couple trips to the carribean, my bills arent' as bad as they could be. I send my cards a large chunk every month. Homes and apartments are so expensive around here it's almost impossible to live on 1 income unless you're making over 50k a year, which I'm not. Waiting for my girl to finish school so we can move out. As for now, i'm at home , but still pay rent and bills for here.

Even without the truck i'd be cutting it close. You have to make decisions. I was in a band that was starting to get big locally , but i was putting soooo much money into it and not getting nothing in return, so that was part of the reason I left. It was amazing how much money suddenly appeared in my checking account. There's alot of other things i'd like to have or do, but I sacrifice. Almost preparing for when I have kids. There's alot of stuff i'll want i'm sure, but the family comes first.

I figured i'd have the nice ride now, cause when the wife and kids come, i'll be driving a station wagon or something
