Hello red00Lightning,

The last time I saw a thread turn to the Lawyer talk it got closed. Ford can create a problem for the websight since it is using F150 in it's name.

I don't mean to play forum cop, I would like to see the thread stay open so we can see what Ford does on the warranty.

Mo Fo's right I AGREE, FORD GOT AWAY WITH MURDER HERE 5 YEARS IN A ROW. There's really no reason to burn this poor guy at the stake. Think how you'd feel if it happen to you. I agree NOW after being here for almost a yr that I have a certain obligation to keep up with my plugs, schitt I'm on my 3rd set with only 7k on it. ""BUT"" when I bought it, I didn't know about the plug spitting, the clunk, the spare that don't work, the windshield gasket falling off when it was a few days old, etc...etc...etc...

if and when this happens to me, I'm gonna come on here and moan and groan like a frigging baby, and I expect you all to put up with me, schitt you put up with my big mouth now

I know I talk too much but
Just for the record, Ford does watch and read these post. I got an e-mail last week from someone at Ford about my post referring to these problems and why they aren't found AND FIXED on the assembly line. He was extremly nice, we e mailed backed and fourth a couple of times and he assured me the quality and workmanship is improving each and everyday. He also told me they go though a squeak and rattle inspection (CLUNK ???) But I do understand it more now and truly believe better days are coming. I do believe Ford owes us all a set of new and improved heads though.

I must say that if the forum folds under Ford's pressure because people are talking about going after FORD for legitimate problems then they need to shut it down now. That's absolutely rediculous. What would FORD's possible arguement be that they could go after the forum owners for ? Because someone said they were going to sue FORD because of a known manufacturing/engineering fault ????

I guess it's only ok to talk about the company and it's products in a good light, heaven forbid you run into a problem and discuss it and compar notes on an issue. Honestly though, it wouldn't surprise me, the same thing happens when people talk bad about the vendors.

I can't blame you at all for being mad and wanting to vent. I recently parked my lightning not only to save milage/gas etc. but also b/c i'm actually paranoid driving the d@mn thing.. unlike some people on the board, I don't have the funds to foot out for new heads/labor. My second car is an 89 mustang with 138K miles and eventhough it could happen, a thrown Rod, plug or anything else inside the block is the last thing i worry about when driving. It really annoys me that whenever I drive my L i'm always listening for a skip, tick etc. Or the horrible thought of a spark plug spitting out at any second..Don't get me wrong either, I love my truck but it's hard to enjoy driving when I have to worry about things such as this.. FORD needs to do something quick I also sent my complaint to ford about the problem.. I FEEL LIKE I'M DRIVING A TIME BOMB ON WWHEELS!!!

I'm venting right along w/ ya..
FLAME AWAY!!!

Angry

I guess I'm a little late to know about this problem. Yesterday coming back from work it happened to me, the #8 plug just blew off. I was hearing a funny noise since last week on the passenger side and was taking it today for a check up but I guess it was to late for that, and I was just crusing.

redooLightning,

The thread that was talking about involved a few folks talking about grouping up to file a lawsuit.
I don't think the problem is with someone posting disaproval of a product, it was about using the forum to try to start a class action situation against Ford. Ford has been known to stir up a fuss with web sights using the Ford trade names....anyway....I was just attempting to let ya know....it's all good.

May not be a good "Class action" lawyer, but this may be a good place to start. 1-800-LEMON-LAW or http://www.lemonlaw.com/

Had a 98 Cobra Vert that kept trashing tranny's. Craig Kimmel got Ford to change their tune, when they(Ford) blamed my tranny failures on my exhaust mods??? (No power adders to the motor).

He brought in the right people to show them that we weren't playing games. Holy ****, Ford suddenly decided to by back my Cobra.

He may do "class action" give him a call. He's the Ford lawyer at the firm.
