i'm not trying to be negative or notin cause i agree with you but it will just take a matter of time until the trools come out of their caves to hunt down more forum prey.

just wanted to say this is the single best forum I've been too. I learn more here than anywhere else. The vendor bashing, fights and trolls can be anoying at times, but that just comes with the territory, they occur on other forums I go to as well. Keep up the good work

 

I just wanted to say that: I remember a time ( just over a year ago ) when all I did was read posts on this forum to learn about my "L" and never signed up or posted...Those were the good old days!!! Hardly ever did I read anything negative...Then I signed up and started posting....It been HELL since then...sorry I caused all the trouble

BS? Eventhough he was verified by another tuner as to who he was and what happened. Post count doesn't mean a thing. All the friggin idiots that do the "Oh, let me post in here before it gets closed" or "10 seconds until this thread gets closed" have thrown that out of the water. There are plenty of people who register, and do not post. They just read everyday, all day.

But, at least that one was cleared up. Miscommunication and hopefully they'll settle it out.

 

Actually, the post that was made verified his IDENTITY, but specifically stated that it DID NOT attest to the accuracy of his claim. All irrelevant posts were removed from that thread, as per our new policy. Let's try to get this back on-topic.

I didnt see the thread till it was closed BUT - The reason the New Years Resolution specifically says NO hearsay is because ALL another Supporting Vendor ( or anyone else ) could attest to that wasnt hearsay is that a new customer bought an engine from them. To add that the customer did x or y or z before that is hearsay... Which is specifically what we are trying to prevent.

Like you I hope the issue is fully investigated and the customer gets his truck running again soon.

What is the point of looking for info, if you can't get the bad with the good. That's like having sex with a beautiful woman, but people not being allowed to tell you she has AIDS.

doug and steve, people are not stupid and most of the big guys know the games that get played wtih people. Names will stay out of it but I'm sure you both know what I'm talking about. Lets face the facts though, sales are up when people are buying and when sales are up they have to pay there supporting vendor tax right? I don't know figures and I really don't care, but to denie people the right to know the truth based on that is just wrong. People come to this site looking for knowledge and the two of you continue to say how we need to get back to informative helpful post. well how is it any different for a person to come on her and bash a dealship that screwed him or for a person to bitch about a tuner that screwed him over. I totally agree with you guys about people making post with my buddy said this and my buddy has this happen, but good or bad information is still information at the end of the day and people want to hear it all.
