Hey Dave....

You can post any pictures you've got (Except that one with the sheep !) 'cause having met me there's no more disguising the fact I'm just an ugly old *******.

Lenny,

Okay cool. You talking about the one with the stump :o ..., or somthing else?

We had a blast down in South Padre Island, thanks for a enjoyable evening. Maybe next time we can spend a day out on the Ranch, what do you think?

Hey VG,

What's up man? I guess you'll be posting daily to keep this thread as current as possible, right?

You live down in Florida, right? The family and I were just down in the Orlando area for a week and enjoyed it very much, other than a camera shop who over charged me for a polarized filter and also a wide angle lens for my Sony Digital Still Camera.

Good to speak with you.

Let me guess, it was a place on International drive right? You can't trust anybody down there. My parents bought a Digital8 here in Orlando, when they went to this place on Int. Dr. the guy wanted $1k for it. They went to circuit city and bought the same one for $699. If you ever come down again shop outside the tourist areas.

VG,

I know now not to buy anything from some place that isn't a national chain. Actually, it was on West Irlo Bronson Hwy just off I4. I loved the area and the fun we had but I had to learn my lesson. I guess they only got me for a max of $40 but that's only 'cause I was beating them down on price as much as I could and they still got me for a little bit. If I wouldn't have been somewhat familiar with prices, they could have soaked me for hundreds if not more.

That's still a tourist section of town, so I'm not too surprised...

As for the thread topic, I will not be going to the King Ranch next year either. My wedding date falls at the end of May, so that time of the year is out for anything not related to the wedding, bachelor party(ies), or the honeymoon. It's kind of nice that I get multiple bachelor parties. Since I live in Orlando, I get all my friends down here to throw me one, then my father-in-law and family up in Grand Rapids are throwing me one up there. Wow! What's more, he is giving me his 94 vette to bring down here this winter, since it would just sit in the garage up there. I definitely like the sound of that!

MARRIED!?!? NO MAN! DON'T DO IT! IT'S A TRAP! RUN!! RUN!!!!!!

hehehe, thank god my wifey doesn't read this forum.

Before I get scalded again by persons who shall remain nameless *coughdavecough* Excuse me..alergies are acting up.

Seriously though...I'm just joking about my wife....

In fact, the possibility remains that we'll get down to the KR for next year. I think it'd be a really good time.... And, believe this or not, she mentioned it to me the other day... "what are we going to do for vacation next year...".

Lenny,

Thanks for the boost. Check out how close I am to 1000 posts!

It won't be much longer before I hit 1000, posts that is.

I still want to do this guys, but my partner spends 6 months in Florida so those 6 months are deffinately out for me. I think he is leaving at the end of October which means he will be back by the end of April. So I could do it in May like Daveman and I did this year.

Did I miss something about hitting 1000 posts or something? I don't get it? of course there are a lot of things I don't get....GRRRRRRR......

Skagel,

Uhh, there's a little number over to the left that tells you how many posts you've made thus far and mine says 995 which is very close to 1000. Now, does that make any more sense, if not then just take my word for it and I'll let you know when I hit 1000. BTW, you are at 929 at the time I'm typing this.
