This is so stupid...but I bet you try it !!

This is something I have known for some time , but came to mind because of a post on the 2004 F 150 forum, so I thought I would let that lot know that I was generally loopy.

You lot already know.

Keyless entry range not enough......try this !

Apart from the fact there are those on these forums that think I've lost the plot anyway.....this is going to prove it.

Move away from your truck blipping the keypad until the point where it doesn't work.

Then.....here's the wierd bit....hold the keyfob against the side of your head and try blipping it again.

Go on....risk looking stupid....you might be surprised !!!!

My guess is the 2-3 foot increase in height improves the range by lessening interference from other vehicles parked nearby.

Uh, you don't have a metal plate in your head, do you?

I was told by an installer to hold the remote to my chin. Same idea and it does work. Or you could add an antenna to your system.

Resonance my dear watson, resonance...
The density of your skull (probably not the first time you heard it) is resonating the soundwave, like ripples in a pond, or like a tuning fork against your guitar or the table etc.

sorry, i know i'm to new around here to be a smarta** but,

when you start getting the strange looks from people passing by, just tell them it's a science experiment to see if there is a brain, air, or rocks in your head. would you like to try?

Rocks? What are you trying to say!? I represent that comment. LOL!

Oh yeah, and you're never too 'new' here to be able to be a smartarse. LOL! That's one of the simple rules we have here... Feel free... Goodness knows that several of us definately have that type of comedic accent to our posts. LOL! (no comments Len).

it's even more effective if you have your alluminum foil helmet on at the time (you know...the one that blocks out the messages that aliens are trying to beam to your brain)

A quick google yielded:

LOL!!

From zapatopi.net

An Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie (AFDB) is a type of headwear that can shield your brain from most electromagnetic psychotronic mind control carriers. AFDBs are inexpensive (even free if you don't mind scrounging for thrown-out aluminium foil) and can be constructed by anyone with at least the dexterity of a chimp (maybe bonobo). This cheap and unobtrusive form of mind control protection offers real security to the masses. Not only do they protect against incoming signals, but they also block most forms of brain scanning and mind reading, keeping the secrets in your head truly secret. AFDBs are safe and operate automatically. All you do is make it and wear it and you're good to go! Plus, AFDBs are stylish and comfortable.

LMAO at logical, those alien messages are what keep me going anymore when the times get rough...And you guys thought it was beer that kept me going and candy and donuts are RockPick's fixes, hehe.

Lenny, I've noticed you've been getting roughed up over there in the '04 F150 forums. Maybe you need to get a few bullys on your side and go back to clean house or is this remote control key fob thing that's going to damage their brain cells and you figured we'd be a good bunch to try it out on to make sure it works? hehe

BTW, where have you been lately? I'm also surprised you didn't respond to Rock's thread with us sharing dinner in KY on your nickel.

Later,

~DM~

Me...getting roughed up...never !!!

Actually it was my rather immature younger brother using the computer in my absence, and posting with my screen name.

Damn cheek !

Anyway, as if I would have said things deliberately to stir things up ! As If !!!!

You lot seem to understand irony.

They obviously don't !

As for your meeting...well, I was just so terribly hurt that you arranged it when I wasn't even on the same continent.

See if I care ! Thbbttt !

You can blame it on whoever was getting married that Dave was travelling up to see...

It's neither his nor my fault! Please forgive us...

BTW, did you get the bill that I forwarded over to you? If so, please note that I didn't get the hand cut Filet Migon... that was Dave. Oh yeah, the bottle of Chateau Margaux Bordeaux was his idea as well.
