IMPORTANT Roll Call PLEASE !!
Do you keep your truck in a garage? My garage was converted into a bonus room so I'm without one. We also have a 1989 Volvo with leather seats in it and boy does it burn!
And rebember some people like different looks as well.... I personally prefer the dark blue/gray cloth in the Sport '03 (Which is what I have).
I love the way KR's look too! Don't get me wrong. I read this forum almost daily as well as the SuperCrew.

leather doesn't get hot my....well, you know.....I lived in Arizona for 5 years...had a black Maxima with beige leather....man did those seats leave some scars......I think the leather in our babies probably wouldn't get as hot.....different type of leather....our babies leather breaths.....Lariat leather is so protected it almost feels like vinyl.
wasn't trying to say one is better than the other it's preference. No mine is not in a garage. and I didn't say leather doesn't get hot I said THAT hot. looks like it's time for me to go back to posting retirement
KRC....
Do NOT go back into posting retirement !!
You were not wrong about leather NOT getting hot.
I think there are a lot of misconceptions about leather feeling hot or cold and in some ways it's understandable.
However the KR leather certainly does NOT get hot.
I don't know why...color, thickness, origin of the material or whatever.
When we are in the States our truck is left out all day in temperatures that get into the high 90's + low hundreds....
While after being shut up for a few hours the air inside is like an oven I can never once recollect thinking the leather was hot.
I wear shorts all the time and I think I would have noticed.
In all the years we were travelling all over the States in rental cars we made a point of taking old towels with us to put on seats that we knew would get too hot to sit on.....and they weren't leather !
