I scooped this text from BroncoDave (don't know how to reply with quotes):
"I support the idea of the KR club and would like to get aholdst of them nice shirts but I afraid that I can't devote much time to such an endeavour. New baby in the house and summer's coming quickly. I check the boards almost everyday but usully don't post unless I have something witty or intelligent to add."

This says it all for me, plus I'm way up here in Ottawa. Hard to be actively participating in a club, but I would love to have the shirt!! I won't put my order in here, but I'll buy two of them when you get things worked out.

I'm not sure what has been going down about Elitist comments I just sure hope it wasn't me. I gotta go look.
Count me in, but don't count me active.

When I was in Viet Nam and within 6 months of going back to the "World" the repsonse during roll call was "Short!" as in short-timer. I've only owned my KR since December, so I'm a short timer and the repsonse is "Short!".

I NEED a KR shirt and the club is a great idea.

It sounds as though we're pulling the support together to make this wheel roll. It's starting to take a 'round' shape already.

I've made a first attempt to contact the folks at KR this morning but, I'm not sure anyone was in. I did leave word for someone to call me however; as of this moment, no phone call. I will try again after lunch if I haven't heard anything back.

In related news, I've spoken with Steve (site owner and webmaster) about using f150online's resources to organize events and continue with our general club garble. Long story short, we have his blessing. This is definately one thing that we needed to address and, with this behind us, it's certainly one less thing on any of our plates to worry about.

Thanks for supporting this idea folks. I think that we're going to see something soon... and I have a good feeling that it's going to be positive... very positive. It's already been a success... we've brought several folks out of 'posting retirement' (ie: daveman, broncodave, krcowboy, acbell, chaos, liny, bmil, pooh, jayhawk, coil, and chestnut... just to name a few). Good to have you all with us... glad to see you again.

Let's keep the focus and continue on our path. We'll get word back from KR in due time.

new forum name

OK, well for starters, for some unknown reason, I was unable to post anything to the forum with my previous login name, IL6fan. So any of you who rememebr the 50 or so posts I made under that name, here I am again. Don't know why it locked me out, guess I did something to tee somebody off. Don't know what that was, but being married for 11 years, I know the routine, just apologize for whatever it may have been that I did, state that it will never happen again and move on.

Now, on to the thing at hand. I am here and accounted for, I hope, and support the shirt organization and a possible meeting in KY. Would be a nice weekend getaway. Count me in for at least one shirt and depending on the date of the get together, count me in for that too, pending any previously scheduled conflicts, (the wife comes to mind in this area too).

Am up to 2000 miles on the KR already and have loved all 2000. Glad to see all of the support for the KR's as they are great trucks.

I'm still here. Sorry, never got around to posting any pictures. The weather is finally turning around so it won't be long now. I'm in for a shirt and decal.

I'm here off and on now and again. Not too much anymore as things are getting hectic and I'm putting most of my spare time into the truck. I should be able to take one of those HD editions off the line now since I got a supercharger installed.

Second call made... talked to a human this time. Explained our situation and she referenced me to a person there that was not in the office today. She said that this person handled the corporate marketing side and was heavily involved in the conception of the F-150/KR Edition.

I hope to hear back tomorrow.

Raceway,

Welcome to our little funny farm. Glad to have you.

Don't be a stranger and check back often. I have a feeling that this might come to be a reality very soon.

Hello out there, I am here and am very interested in us trying to form a club if you will. I am waiting on a decal I had a friend make up for me that Joe created and looks great. I know we are all on a stand still on the plans for our project as we are waiting to hear from outsiders (KR) in regards to legalities, so we must be patient. I know RP has started this and we all are very interested. I would love to have another shirt (HA HA!) that has King Ranch all over it! I would like to wear something other than the one I have to all of my truck functions!! Some people may start to think that I only have one shirt. Again, thanks to RP, and all you others who are trying to get this thing going!!!!

Damon
