LOL.... well... ummm... I haven't had the truck out in the rain. HAHAHA! Seriously, I never pulled it out of the garage when it was raining over the weekend and, actually, came into work a little late on Monday so the streets had some time to dry... Give me a break here though... I spent about 3.5 hours washing and drying the truck on Saturday and I wasn't about to let one trip to work ruin all of that work.

Better late than never man... we're always glad to have you. When are we going to get together so we can check out the trucks? We're definately too close not to pull that off sometime!

Hello out there, I am here and am very interested in us trying to form a club if you will. I am waiting on a decal I had a friend make up for me that Joe created and looks great. I know we are all on a stand still on the plans for our project as we are waiting to hear from outsiders (KR) in regards to legalities, so we must be patient. I know RP has started this and we all are very interested. I would love to have another shirt (HA HA!) that has King Ranch all over it! I would like to wear something other than the one I have to all of my truck functions!! Some people may start to think that I only have one shirt. Again, thanks to RP, and all you others who are trying to get this thing going!!!!

Damon
You said a mouthfull in that we need to be patient. If KR was totally against this idea, I really believe that we would've been shot out of the water in a mere instant. Instead, they're considering this as an option. I think it would be a good 'PR' (that's RP backwards HA!) for them to do this as it's their 150th and Ford's 100th aniversary. I heard rumor that they might try to do a joint event to celebrate from someone here several months ago... Anyone heard anything else on that?

Keep the faith folks. I think we'll see an answer in due time. The ball is rolling...

VG...... You're number 23 to check in !

Come on all you lurkers.....there must be some more KR owners who are just browsing.

Can't we get it to 50 !!

At this point 36 replies on this thread and 304 views.

If we assume a whopping 75% non KR owning browsers that still means er, um, er, let's see, er, um ...ah yes 76 people to post.
23 have checked in so we still have 53 to go !

COME ON PEEPS....add your name to the register.

We'll allow you to post if you are 'thinking' about having a King Ranch !!!!

You can still get the T Shirt !

(Mind you you have to pay the $2,500 joining fee plus an extra $1000.00 for not actually owning a KR)

WHICH REMINDS ME.....ONLY 9 PEOPLE HAVE PAID THEIR FEES INTO MY SWISS BANK ACCOUNT UP 'TIL YET !!!

Deadline is the last day of the month after which a late fee of ***** will be charged. That fee will be variable according to whether I've decided I like you or not.

I'm sure he does. I've seen a couple of other KRs on the road around town, but I haven't bumped into Rockpick yet.

For the love of peat don't bump into me! LOL!

dcornett... AWESOME to see you on the boards and great to have a fellow KR owner roaming amongst us.

Where are you located in Louisville? I'm over in the Fern Creek area currently however; we will be moving to La Grange in August as we recently purchased a house.

Again, good to see you. We should get together sometime if you have a chance.

Take care

RP

Sounds like a plan. You're moving into my neck of the woods! I'm just outside of Crestwood (exit 14 off I-71).

Wow... we're going to be neighbors soon... interesting!

Are you familar with the new 'BALL HOMES' subdivision out there off of 146 in LaGrange?

Do you commute to Lville every day? If so, how's the traffic? That's my biggest worry being out that far... then again, I figure if I'm on the road at 7, it shouldn't be too awful...

I'm sure I have driven by it before but never noticed. Is it east or west of the county courthouse?

As far as traffic goes, it isn't bad. I work just south of the airport, so depending on my mood, I'll get on 71 and take it to 264 or I'll take 146 to 265 around to 65. From where I'm it, it's same time and distance either way. I've been in Crestwood for almost two years now and you can tell that commuter traffic has increased.

It's east of the town square... decent sized subdivision out there... average, family housing situation... well-kept with newer houses. We're very excited as it will be our first house...

Glad to hear about the traffic situation. I'm still dreading it as it will definately increase my commute and also increase the amount of bugs/rock chips on the front end... tis life. I better get good at the 'rock chip fix' method.

You probably pass my wife every morning on the way to work... she teaches in Buckner and does the commute down 265 then through Crestwood, and then over to Buckner.
