Finally back in a Ford. Feels good.

Hello all. My name is Adam and I am on my third Ford Truck. My first vehicle ever was an '89 F150 with the unkillable 300ci inline 6. It had 327,000+ miles on it before I finally traded it, huge mistake, for a 2001 F250 with the 6.8L V10. I had to get rid of my 250 when I joined the Marine Corps, or so I thought, because I was told I wouldn't be ablt to afford to pay for it. So for four years I've had to drive a 2001 Isuzu Trooper, GM made. Finally this year just after Valentine's Day we went and bought my third Ford truck a 2001 F150 Lariat. We've had a few small issues, typical with an 11 year old vehicle, but I love my "new to me" truck. Hope to have many good discussions on here.

BTW, after having 2 pontiacs and an Isuzu I'm thouroughly sick of GM. I think I'll only have the blue oval in the driveway from now on. The Pontiacs were my wife's and the Isuzu started out as hers until I took it over after we bought the Pontiac Montana. Too many issues.

I posted one in my signature, not sure why it hasn't shown up. You can see her on my profile though. I hope to get some more pics soon since I put my old tool box on her.

EDIT: Figured it out, yet another forehead slapping moment today.

Thank you. I assume it was. I really couldn't believe the good shape it was in when I first saw it. It does have some minor scratches and dings, comes with age. The only issue it has right now is the overhead console doesn't work. But 116,000 miles isn't bad for an 11 year old truck. It even came with a Leer camper top. They were just going to throw it away, I said no way, I'll take it, haha.
