Question dash removal

Sorry to post this again, i know its been talked about before. What do you have to do to remove the plexiglass from the instrument cluster??? its so dirty that the guages are hard to see. Are there any precautions to take, and what is the best thing to clean it with? How do you take out the headlight switch ive tried it before but cant seem to get it off.

Thanks

By the way how do you remove the headlight switch, do you have to use a lot of pressure?? Im afraid to break it.

Put the switch in the parking light position and pull back. You'll see a small hole at the bottom. Put a small screw driver in the hole and use it for extra leverage as you pull back. It should pop off with a bit of effort.

When you put the **** back on and turn it to release the springs, the entire housing should just slide out of the dash.
