what removes mascara
My wife got a small ammount of mascara on her headliner which is light grey. Does anyone know the best way to remove this stripe without it becoming a smudge ?
20 days and no answer
I thought interior care was the best place to put this question , but I guess not. I was hoping the detailers had run into this problem and could answer it. They may not venture into this section. Ill give it till next month then post it under the detailing section.
Considering I wear the annoying crap, try liquid make-up remover, it worked for me.. I used it to get it off my prized white cotton Redwings hoody. It didn't leave any smears/stains. But, you might try just a little bit on a q-tip on just a small corner to see what it will do, just be sure to let it dry completely. It worked for me. Good luck to you.

I would try a hot and wet rag, and try to blot it off. Really short wipes to keep it from smearing. Water drys, and it shouldn't contain any chemicals so you don't have to worry about staining or discoloring. If that didn't get it, then I would look for other solutions. You may try qtips with hot water first to lift the majority of the mascara off first, then go back with the rag to clean. Less chance to smear.
Thanks to all who replied, Ill give it a try as soon as I get the chance. Shes been asking for a quick detail but I only managed to get mine cleaned up yesterday when the weather was nice.
