try to find a donor harley......


the interior pilars, visors, and lights along with the headliner itself....whew...thats alot, but that is one more reason that i got a harley over the fx2...the gray from the windows up didnt look right with black leather and black carpet door panels and dash

my pillars are already black, the only think that isnt is the everything above that

im gettin a new black liner put in my truck next week im tryin to change my interior to black too its costing 160$ but i dont have a sunroof so its prob a lot easier

I do not know of the product mentioned BUT I am not a fan of painted interiors they can look tacky and lack durability, I would go with the re-upholstry idea & get the doors done to match.

if im correct,those grey pieces you want to paint are a part of the main dash.you will have to remove the entire dash assembly.i wouldnt paint inside the truck anyway.i think those would look good in gloss black.also doesnt the harley truck have black headliner?if it does go to the dealer and get a harley headliner and sun roof cover.then at least you will have your stock one in case something happens or to experiment with.edit-i guess i missed the above post about the harley headliner sorry.

i went on ebay like a week ago and it was like 500 dollars i think for the headliner. you do have a good idea though to save the other one. i was thinking the easiest way would be for someone to cover it in a black material and paint the plastic pieces but i'll look online to see how much the whole harley roof is with all the parts. probably alot =/

You could always just do it red-neck style and put a black sheet up and use some tacks to hold it up
