Improving A/C scent?
What is the best way to improve the scent coming out of AC?
It doesn't smell bad, perse.. but not refreshing either. Kind of stale..
What can I do to improve?

When you are about a minute from where you are going turn off the a/c and just run the fan. That takes the moisture out of the unit. Also I thinl there is something you spray in the cowling intake that helps but forgot what it was, check the parts houses.
Try to limit "max" setting as much as posible and allways switch teh selector to "vent" before turning off the truck. this will leave the system open and allow it to breathe while the built up condensation can evaporate.

I always turn mine back to vent and turn off the a/c about a mile from my house.
Also, about once a year I will turn on the A/C and spray Lysol into the system. Then I let it run for a few minutes on high.
I just liberally sprayed some Lysol fresh scent in my vents, and wiped up the excess with a sponge. Then I turned my A/C on high and went for a drive to air it out. My cab smells like a rose garden. lol.
Thanks for the advice about not leaving the A/C control on "Max A/C" all the time, and putting it on "vent" to blow the moisture out before I shut it off. I'm guilty of doing that.:o

"Max" just turns on the recirc air rather than bring in fresh, why try and cool 95 degree air from outside? Just doesn't work that well. I always use recirc, even if my AC is on low, what's the big deal?
