Need headlight help! 2011 F150 lariat

Hey gents. Here's the deal. I just bought a used 2011 f150 crew cab lariat 4×4 from a local dealer that I know. Beautiful truck. Everything works great and I'm proud to own it. I went by to pick up the tags from him the other day and noticed a 2014 king ranch with the HID projector headlights that I really want for mine (which has the factory halogens that came stock with the 2011's). I spoke to the salesman I bought from and asked him if he'd be cool with me swapping the headlamps. He said he was fine with it. Now I know that I have to have a retrofitted wiring harness to upgrade my old halogens for the HID's; but I need to know if I can just plug and play the halogens off of my truck into the king ranch and them work without buying a wiring harness for it. Essentially, I'm trying to downgrade the king ranch's HID's for halogens. Those HID headlamps run anywhere from $200-$500 if I bought them online.... Needless to say, I don't wanna do that. Has anyone here swapped HID's for halogens? Help me!

Do a search here and you'll find that this has been discussed over and over again.

I did a couple of searches and found plenty about upgrading, but nothing about downgrading. If you happen to know which forum or title this discussion is under, would you please post the link or let me know? Thanks

if you read about how they upgraded, the reverse order in the process would take you back to original

Like I said in the other post I'm pretty sure it's not possible with out cutting and splicing the wiring on the KR. And it's more like $1000 for a set of OEM HIDs.

You probably work for the company. You've replied to a lot of threads that don't even talk about things like this posting the same info...

SPAMMER ALERT!

A light bar or work light is NOT what the OP asked about. Stop SPAMMING every thread that you can find!
