Anyone used these headlights before? Mine are pretty beat on my truck and I am thinking about picking these up.

Don't go smoked. You won't be any better off than the scratched up yellow lights you have now (guessing since you said yours are beat up) honestly after dealing with aftermarket heads with my retrofits they are just cheap. Usually yellow with in a year and usually something brakes.. see if you can find some nice OEM take offs. Usually you can find some clean ones in the for sale section.

 

X2 on what he said. Although some aftermarket headlights look like OEM units, they rarely perform like OEM. I too have been burned by stuff that looked and was advertised to be just as good as OEM. There's a reason factory parts cost more. Generally speaking, they perform a hell of a lot better and for much longer.

 

I hear about aftermarket units not having a good seal. People complain about them fogging up on the inside.

 

Lenses will typically yellow much sooner on aftermarket units

 

I decided to give them a try. I am going to seal them up good before installing them. For $66 bucks might as well try. If I get a year I am happy.

 

Aside from hindering output with the tint. Seal them up on the seam. The tint on then will probably stop them from yellowing, but you won't be happy with the output.

 

Maybe I can buy some better bulbs to help?

 

It's tint.... You don't tint your windows to see better. . Those are halogen lights so you can only run halogens. Should only run halogens. And those all have the same lumens.

 

I will keep the stockers if I don't like the ebay jobs.
