Cornering lights
Cornering lights
I was trying to find some lights to use as cornering lights on the truck but I can't seem to find a half decent spot to mount the lights. I have tinted windows and its hard to see when turning at night. I hooked up a small low-profile led light bar and installed it under the running boards but alot of light is blocked by the tires and running boards. Any ideas or suggestions?
Note: I don't need these to be street legal as I won't be using them when I'm in town which is pretty well lit.

Not a bad idea but I was looking for something low profile although I may resort to that if I can't find a better alternative
Where do you suggest mounting them? I currently have them on my truck atm and I couldn't find a good spot without drilling

As far as mounting them, their awkward shape and size is just ONE of the problems with those ridiculous oversized light bars. For corning lamps, I'd use something like these <https://www.f150online.com/forums/2004-2008-f-150/508772-d2-flush-mounts-installed.html>. You might need to add a tapered wedge point them help point them in the right direction.
You could also use a short light bar like this one and mount two of them vertically in, or one, the grill and pointed out at a 45d angle. <https://www.amazon.com/KAWELL%C2%AE-9-32V-2250LM-Degree-Waterproof/dp/B00LP4MATO/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1471266123&sr=8-6&keywords=short+automotive+light+bar>
