2016 F150 OEM COURTESY LIGHT #FL3Z14A318Q

I want to add courtesy lights (not AMBIENT lighting) in the front floor wells, there is a cutout in the steel for this under the dash on both sides, but I cant find the pigtails to hook them up. Can anyone tell me if the connections are there and maybe just well hidden, I only ask because I added a trailer break switch and the pigtail was there under the dash ready to use.

 

its probably a pretty generic connector thats used on many systems


Buying pigtails from Ford is stupid expensive. They're 30-60 a piece

 

Thanks for your reply, I actually checked with Ford today and they looked at the build sheet, come to find out if it's not built with the Courtesy light, it's not wired for it. But the price is like $18 each on ebay for OEM parts, I didn't think too bad. I'm gonna get an anyway and tap into the dome light.

 

You could always cut that connector off and wire your own generic 2 pin connector to it
