They come out of the box, in the correct possition (makes it a little difficult with the instructions saying otherwise, but they'll get that sorted out.)
Ahh well that's either misinformation or that's raw lumens before optics and drivers, and depends and what wattage they drive them at. But that is good they come to you ready to go

HID's won't produce as much lumen output as LEDs.

Temperature on these LEDs are 6500k - pure white

The bulbs don't look bright in his photo because it looks like he took the photos in daylight inside his garage area... not at night yet (he told me it's raining so no night photos yet)
No I was saying if the LEDs are claiming 6000 lumen per LED (obviously you have now stated that's both combined) and that picture is 6000 lumens then mine would be 10000 lumens in comparison.. I know mine are 3400 lumens per light and Osram CBI bulbs at 5500k being driven by a 35w Matsush ITa (spaced because the forum will throw in stars) also running in rx350 projectors. If you don't understand that everything in my build is an OEM component you need to do more research.

HIDs can and have produced more lumens than LEDs. All depends on wattage they are being driven by, same for LEDs. That's like stating aV8 will always have more power than aV6. If that V6 has twin turbos it'll have more power than most V8s.

I'm not a fan of HID anymore, not with LED's out now. LED's will replace HID in the next few years. HID was great but has been surpassed (just like Plasta/LCD tv's are surpasse now by LED).

LED are just way more durable and last way longer and use less power.

6500k is not pure white. Either these are blue or not 6500k.

"The color temperature of a light source is the temperature of an ideal black-body radiator that radiates light of comparable hue to that of the light source. With unit Kelvin(unit symbol K), color temperatures over 5000K called cool white, 4000K-5000K pure white, and 2700K-3000K warm white."

Yes they will eventually pass HIDs. I agree 100%. But currently they are not.. Still waiting for more laser headlights. I think BMW currently has them in the European market. Don't think they are allowed in the States yet.

I'm not trying to start a fight just stating what I see. They are one of the better if not best PNP LEDs out there from what I can tell from the pictures. They do have their downsides as I stated before, but for the most part they look good.. Waiting for my night pictures..
FYI TRS is currently in mid production of adjustable LEDs too and also virtual filament LED or whatever they call it haha. But that's for blinkers, running lights etc. Not headlights.

LED Kelvin temperature differ from HIDs for whatever reason. 6500k is actually pretty close to white on LED form.

I can't say what's going on yet but there are adjustable LED's coming within the next few months, for headlights... that let you change a few things here/there.

I don't buy/sell the TRS LED's just the morimotos from them and HID if people need them. I sell the Diode Dynamics ones.

I could honestly get half the Diode Dynamics cheaper overseas but they have great customer support and good R&D so to me, the extra money is worth it for that.

I also get my LEDs from DD or LED concepts both have great products. I have a whole sale account with all 3.

My buddy and I retrofit and we do it thru his business. I do it more as a hobby he does it as a second job. His business is tinting, car stereo, retrofitting, and other odds and ends. Plus he's a professional photographer.

2008_XL is going to be posting photos/review. This way it's from an end-user such as yourself and not me, the guy selling the lights. A bit more fair. PLUS 2008_XL was against LED's so his opinion will mean a lot

As soon as the rain stops I will get the review. Weather has not been on my side the past two days. Looks better the rest of this week though.

I promise a review is coming! Rained all weekend so that wouldn't make for very good night shots. Work at 5 am today and tomorrow. Tuesday night or Wednesday night I will get all the night photos and post everything comparing these leds against sylvania zxe halogens.

I take full responsibility of the photos promised of these leds.
