2015 f150 fogs only

Anybody who has a 2015 Ford F-150 with the foglamps do me a favor please. If you use them a lot can you check to see if they're cracked. Mine have cracked, I keep them on quite a bit and I have not had anything fly up hit them. Both of them are cracked pretty much the same and I'm wondering if it's a defect since they came out with new ones for this year.

1. That run-on sentence, damn. 2. You're still under warranty, go have the dealer replace for free and ask if this is a common concern.

Wow didn't know I was going to get an English lesson just had a question! Second thing is is I know I can take it back and its under warranty I bought the vehicle and that's kind of one of the things they tell you. That's why I was just asking if you actually own a 2015 Ford f-150 could you the person that owns one and has the fog lamps check. But thank you for your response.

Wasn't trying to be a jerk, it's just really painful to read run-on sentances and others may not be as inclined to help if it's a tough read for them.

It might pay to also search through the 2015 section of this forum. However, I have yet to see this complaint. You may very well be the first. Hopefully it's just a defect and not a reoccurring issue for you.

It's really difficult to put in punctuation when you're using speak to text on your phone. That's why I don't use a lot of punctuation. But since it's such a new truck I doubt many owners have gone out and looked at the fog lamps. So I'm trying to also bring the awareness does this issue as well. I'm wanting to find out if more than just my truck is having the same issue since they change the new design on the fog lamps.

Speak to text, now that changes everything. Most are just lazy. Sorry to lump you into that category. I only use that to send text messages when driving. It mistakes too many words for my liking.

I suppose that's the downside of getting a first model year truck. Even if it does turn into be a defect that affects a lot of others, I hope they'd redesign asap.

Is the crack on the inner housing or on the clear front?

I'm in my work truck right now. I will have to check when I get home. But I have contacted the Ford dealership several times and ask them about replacing them already. They're trying to give me the runaround it could be from road debris flying up, but I can tell you from the way it looks on both of them and that there's no chips on my paint or anything else that it's not road debris. They have taken pictures and told me to get back with me. That was an oil change and three calls ago.

Welcome to the forum, Glenn. Have you heard back from the dealership? How many miles are on your truck? I'll start researching some ways to help.

Thanks for responding, Glenn. Reach out to me via private message (PM) with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership. I'd like to dig into this a bit deeper.

Hey Glenn, I'll check mine in the morning for you, I have not noticed anything and mine have gotten a fair bit of use especially lately. Any specific areas I should be looking at?

Just check the fog lamps going across. Mine cracked from the heat of the bulb. Their warranty mine out today. So I will have new ones but I did bring it up to them that they're made of plastic and that what do I do if the do the same.
