I don't think there are any HID headlights for any superduty headlights. unless you make them yourself.

And yes - Bi-Xenon means both low and hi-beam functionality is present, courtesy of said shield and solenoid.

Go D2S because the fx-r is only marginally better than it..
To me the $100 dollar upgrade is worth it, because the Osram and Phillips bulbs are genuine OEM, meaning precise alignment in the projector bowl, max output, and max reliability.

FX-R are harder to install because you actually have to cut away at you reflector bowl and install them using steelstick of some form.
The Mini projectors have a shaft that you just stick thru the existing halogen hole and a nut threads on the back to hold it in place. There will be some small grinding, but nearly as much as the FX-R.
