Thanks. Ya I looked before doing the retro and no one had it done. That's why I made this nice how-to just in case someone else wanted to follow in my foot steps..

Thanks That's the kinda answer I was waiting to hear.

Do you think you might know what happened to my driverside projector when I dropped my headlight last night? Pic of cut-off in previous post. The left side of the step is straight but the right side cuts up. I tried messing with the bulb but nothing.

I don't wanna tear my headlights apart again ugh. Oh well if i have to I will. Is there any way to mold the front lens of the headlight so it will go around the projector better?

The only way to mold the lens is to heat it up, and if you don't heat it up at the right temp at the right pace, you will deform it and maybe cause some plastic scarring

So i can't just heat it up to like 280 for 10 minutes then then use c clamps to hold it in place till it cools.. So your saying i need a heat gun and need to heat the certain spot where i want it to bent?

Well thought I'd add this now that its wired up.
Quad hi beams...not as good as it sounds the HIR high beam is aimed to high. I need to figure out how to get that dang little projector out so i can shim it and aim it lower.
Here is a pic of the quads together Name: DSCF3099hi.jpg

Looks good!
I think when you dropped it the wire bracket around the solenoid came out on one end pulling that side of the shield down. If so it's an easy fix but you still have to take the headlight apart.

Thanks. I looked at it from the outside trying to see the cut-off shield and it looked fine but that doesn't mean its not off just enough to mess with the light output. I'll crack open my headlights one day one I have extra time to see what happened.
