So they are the same?

I'm going to sound like an idiot I know but...what are the ballasts? And I think there is a selection to choose from when picking the kit.

Thanks for the help.

I know one thing...the cheaper I can get everything the sooner and more likely the parents will let me do this! Fingers crossed...by or for Christmas!

Ballasts are the boxes you see with the wires going and out of them....they contain the circuitry that controls the energy to the bulb.....

TRS is the place that sells the kits. Lightwerks is a company that installs them.

Ballasts are the ignitors. They change the voltage from low DC to high AC to create the initial reaction in the arc chamber of the bulb.

5000K drivers side, 4300K pax side

So yours are the 55W 5000K on the drivers side correct? cause I really like that, and it matches better with the LED in the corner light.

my corner lights are supposedly 5000K. The drivers side is FIFTY watts (50W) 5000K and the passenger side is 50W 4300K. Of course if you actually measured output, 50W Morimoto ballasts only put out about 42-46W
