They are the Morimito D2S 5000K. I am going to swap the bulbs from one fog and head and see what it looks like.

Good idea. They should be labeled as such, as well.

The old ones have the stickers like the ones in the picture and the new ones are actually printed on. I have both styles and the old version with the stickers are in the fogs and the new versions are in the headlights.

Did you try swapping them yet? IIRC I remember the newer version bulbs have a much more intense color. This might be the case.

The fog retro with Minis requires a ton of cutting. It was harder than the headlight retro for me. Use the Mori Matchbox proejctors, it will save you a lot of time and effort since they are much smaller and fit easier.

Totally Agree!!!!! I quit takeing pictures of this job when I realized how much I had to grind off to get them to fit. I figured there was not going to be anyone that would take the route I did. Once I started grinding I was determined to make them fit, if I knew how much grinding it would take when I started I don't think I would have even tried.

My 5000k are all the same color pretty much, with the headlights being just SLIGHTLY more colorful since they have more time on them and have shifted more. But looking straight at the truck you can't tell a difference, they all look white. You might have a 6000k bulb. Ever get this solved?

I haven't done anything with them since I got them installed. Been working, doing stuff with the family, and getting some AC all wired up in my shop because I'm sick of sweating in there. I did follow my wife home the other night from the movies and the light output was amazing. I was lighting up the back of her Lincoln but with such great cutoffs it wasn't shining inside the car and my lights were shining farther than her headlights and a lot more on the sides of the road. After she turned off to the house and I went around to my shop I hit the quad high beams and that was amazing amount of light. She said that my truck behind her car looked really cool. She even noticed more blue in the headlights than the fogs so if she noticed it it has to be blue. I get it figured out sometime but I'm not in that much of a rush.

She saw blue due to the color flicker on the cutoff. The FXR has super intense color flicker compared to the mini H1 or mini D2S. If the color on the actually cutoffs against a wall is a noticeable difference, then you have different kelvin bulbs or one pair has much more run time than the other.
