Well since the light cannot penetrate the tint, it simply refracts down the plastic until it is reflected some other way.

tinted tail lights just scream....pull me over, give me a ticket and if I want to be a real jerk, let me find a reason to impound the vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mine are very lightly smoked but with the black background on aftermarket led tails it looks a lot darker, and my running lights are clearly visible in broad day light so i'm not worried about them, or my smoked led third brake light which is still highly visible. it would be hard to say "i didn't see your brake lights" especially since i have a light bar as well. and stealth, they looked so good smoked! but you did an excellent job bring them back to red.

Throw some a platinum set of vleds in there and that fire ice led bar , call it a day. They do look pretty good like that
