V-LED 92 led 3157 turnsignal/parklamp 2005 F150 problems
#16
I put in resistors on each side and tried leaving 1 stock halogen and putting only 1 led light and it blew, I went through 5 fuses trying everything I could.
DOES THE RESISTOR GO TO THE BLACK WIRE ( GROUND) AND THE WHITE/GREEN WIRE?
OR BLACK AND BROWN?

I first had it in the black ground wire and the white/green wire and it didnt help so I was wondering maybe I put it in the wrong one then I uncrimped and retried the brown and black but on the passanger side I heard a spark and i checked the instrument cluster and when I turn the lights on it has the right arrow lit up and when I go outside it is not on, So I probably burnt the fuse, but not the normal #6 cause its only affecting the passanger parklamp. But the signal on it works.

As in the prongs of the LED's? What do you mean I need to find the wire that is touching the ground. Its not like I did some kind of supplemental wiring....

Anything. A short is where the power is touching ground before it is being used. It doesn't matter if you wired anything. A prong, clip, anything metal is touching something it isnt. Check the bulbs themselves. The solder for the LEDs could be crossing in the paths of the lead.

I tried again today with another 3157 led that I had in my reverse lights that I took out a while ago, still blows the fuse when I try and turn the park lamps on, but blinkers work even with the blown fuse.
I dont understand why regular bulbs work but when I put in any LED its shorting.
Could it have anything to do with that recently I had an auto shop install auxilary reverse lights through the hitch wires that turn on when cars in reverse?

Is the reverse lights on the same fuse? Even so, I doubt it. To be honest, I am completely stumped here. You've confirmed that LEDs are the problem and rules out manufacturer error with three different sets. Unless someone else can chime in, I say you cut your losses and go back to incandescents.

Nothing, just wondering.
I say yes. depends on how they hooked them up. Did they take any power from something that uses fuse 6? Did they use a relay? Try to see if the parking lights wire was nicked in hitch area and is grounding out. Leds are picky compared to a normal bulb for set up. Another thing to try is use a 5amp fuse instead of a 15 amp. Some say it works with leds because of the small draw they take. Never install a higher amp fuse unless you want to burn up wires and have a $$$ problem. Marker lights are on a different fuse then signals.

Its not connected to fuse #6 the guy hooked it up from the hitch nd pput its own fuse underneath the hitch. I can go check the wires out right now and see if any of em are grounding.. And Ill try a 5 amp. I used like over 10+ 15amp fuses this has been so expensive for me, I spent money on the flasher, resistors, fuses, + lights its like over 110$
