Welcome to the Illumination & Lighting Sub-Forum!

Welcome to the illumination and lighting forum. Thanks to several folks (and, specifically, Raptor05121) for the suggestion to start this sub-forum.

We will begin slowly migrating threads that are found across the site pertaining to illumination, lighting, bulbs, HIDs, LEDs, etc in to this thread to provide a more centralized location for this information.

As always, let us know if you have suggestions about the site by using the Comments & Suggestions forum. We're listening!

Enjoy!

DONT LIKE IT!!

This is whats called a pigeon hole. To many sub forums makes things dry up. I like just clicking on the 2009 f150 forum and seeing everything 09 f150 related. Now i have to jump around to see whats new and hope not to miss things. I liked just coming across a thread in that forum that gives you a good idea for a mod. Now you really need to want to do a HID mod to come in here. This means threads will not get attention and questions will go unanswered

Cool.

I don't really go in and out of sub forums though. I just hit new posts and check my old posts

Thanks! We'll need a couple of stickies, from the how to: section.

1st: F-150 Headlight Bulb Guide. Cause lots of people ask what bulb is needed ASAP when a bulb burn out.
https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...ulb-guide.html

2nd: FAQs: Halogens v HIDs. Cause it's a good write up on your lighting.

2q002 F150 Super Crew Lariet Headlights

I have a 02 F150 Super Crew with 120K miles. Been a great truck but no0w having little issues.

One now is that I have no headlights unless the selector is in the far CW position. When in automatic mode (far CCW postion), no headlights and no cluster lights. I checked the below dash and under hood fuses and all good. Then replaced the light switch and still will not work.

Anybody have any clues???? Couyld it be the light sensor stuck on???

Thx
